Connecting Meta uses Facebook Login for Business. On Meta's consent screen you choose a business portfolio, then the specific ad accounts and Pages to share. GrowthOS requests permission to read your ads and performance data, manage ads (used only for changes you approve), see your business assets, and list your Pages (needed to publish ads from a Page).
- The connection is read-only until you approve a publish action. Syncing imports campaigns and 12 months of insights; it changes nothing.
- Writes happen only for actions you explicitly approved, and new campaigns are always created paused.
- Your access token is encrypted before storage and is only ever decrypted by our isolated sync worker. We never see your Facebook password.
- In GrowthOS: Integrations → Disconnect. This deletes the connection and the mirrored account data from your workspace; your approval history is preserved.
- On Facebook: remove GrowthOS under Settings → Business Integrations. Meta notifies us, we mark the connection revoked, and syncing stops. You can also request data deletion from Facebook's side.
"No Meta ad accounts found." Meta connected, but the consent screen didn't grant access to any ad accounts. Reconnect and, on Meta's screen, choose your business and the ad accounts to share — not just your personal profile. Also confirm your Meta user actually has access to those accounts in Business Manager.
Access limited during app review. Our Meta app review is currently in progress on Meta's side. Until it completes, some users may connect successfully but see limited or no account data. This is temporary — if you're blocked by it, contact us and we can add you as a tester or connect on your behalf.
"Meta login temporarily unavailable." A transient state on Meta's side while the app updates — try again in a few minutes.
Connection shows Expired. Tokens normally renew automatically; if one lapses, hit Reconnect to resume syncing.
